Dr. Park’s research interests include theological anthropology, marriage and family, abuse, and cross-cultural competencies. She has contributed to Trained in the Fear of God, Scripture and Counseling, Biblical Counseling and the Church, and other books and journals. Previously, she has served as the book review editor for The Journal of Discipleship and Family Ministry. Dr. Park has been a member of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors since 2007, serves as a council member of the Biblical Counseling Coalition, and is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
Dr. Park has taught counseling and women’s courses at various Christian colleges and seminaries since 2011. Her ministry experience includes serving as a staff counselor at a ministry that cares for young moms. Additionally, she has served as a church staff member, teaching women’s Bible studies and training church members in biblical counseling.
Dr. Park’s desire is to help students think critically about life experiences and struggles from a Christ-centered perspective that is based on the authority of Scripture with the aim of loving God and loving others.
