Alphonso Lopez Pinto is an Associate Professor of Theology at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary in Denver, Colorado.
His main field of research is the relationship between Sacred Art and Theology during the Catholic Restoration of 16th – 17th century Rome and Bologna.
Liturgical and spirituality studies also play an important role in this research, illuminated by the eclectic resources of Catholic Tradition.
He also believes that after a great deal of theological research, there is nothing better than listening to Opera, especially in the works of Jules Massenet and Gioachino Rossini.
