Dr. Tie has served as a pastor in USA and Malaysia for 17years before entering Methodist Theological School (Sibu) for 17 years aslecturer/Dean of Field Education and later as principal for more than 10 years.Courses that he has taught include Homiletics, Daniel, Revelation, Mark,Contemporary Theology, Apologetics, etc. Currently he is the President ofChinese Methodist Churches, Sarawak, Malaysia. He has taught DMin Homileticpracticum and been a DMin dissertation reader for over 15 years. His life missionis "to preach and to teach others to preach." He and his wife Winnie,a Hong Kong born Chinese, have two daughters and one son.
