Hongyi Yang serves as an Assistant Professor of Theology in Women’s Studies, and Director of the Mandarin Translation Project.

Yang earned a Ph.D. in Systematic Theology from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2016), M.A. in Theology, Biblical Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (2007), M.S. in Radio, Television, and Film from the University of North Texas (2003), M.A. in Media Studies from Beijing Normal University (2000) and a B.A. in Film and TV from Beijing Normal University (1998).

Yang has served in Women’s ministry for a number of years.
